What does the Fan Button Do? |

This button is to enable or disable “Silent Mode”. When “Silent Mode” is enabled the system lowers its power usage; this also reduces the fan speed to achieve the lowest operating noise. Using the system in silent mode will slightly prolong battery life.
Silent mode can only be used while the system is operating from battery.
When Silent Mode is enabled, the fan LED will be lit.

How do I connect to my wireless network? |

1. Ensure that your wireless adapter is turned on. The on /off switch can be found on the front right side corner of your laptop (next to your microphone and headphone connections).
2. Ensure the wireless LED is Lit.
3. Left click the network icon found in your system tray and select “Connect to a network.” With Vista there is only one icon for both wired and wireless connections
4. Select the network you wish to connect to and click the connect button.
