Change the Connector Settings in your Realtek HD Audio Manager.To access this go to Start --> Control Panel -->Realtek HD Audio Manager.
And then click the “Connector Settings” folder and make sure that “Disable front panel detection” is not checked. |

Your playback volume may be set incorrectly. To check this, follow these steps:
• Open the “Realtek HD Audio Manager”, which can be accessed from the control panel or system tray.
• Once the Audio Manager is open please click the Microphone tab at the top of the window and ensure that the microphone playback is not muted or set too low |
