Frys's PC FM7650

Question: The F5 key on page 85 of FM7650 does not do any function for FirstWare Recover. How do I run FirstWare Recover?

Answer: Please note that the reference key (F5) on page 85 of your manual refers to F4. Boot up system, press, and hold down F4 key to enter FirstWare Recover. Follow the screen instruction printed on page 85 of your user's manual.

Question: Why can’t I download and install the TV guide for my Media Center?

Answer: Please follow the steps below:

Go to Start > Control Panel > Network and Internet Connections > Network Connections > Right click your local network connection and then go to properties.

Click on Install to install Service and Client.

Highlight Services and click Add.

Highlight QoS Packet Scheduler and Click OK. Let Windows install the software.

After it finishes, you need to click on Install again to install the Client.

Highlight Client and click Add.

Highlight Client for Microsoft Networks and click OK. Let Windows install the software.

After the software installation finishes, you need to verify that Client for Microsoft Network and QoS Packet Scheduler is installed and checked.

Restart your system. Once you are back from restart you will be able to download the TV guide and enjoy your Media Center Edition of Windows XP.
